Isaiah's Testimony
I used to stay with my sister in Ntinda, but after some time we got misunderstandings and she chased me away for she no longer wanted to stay with me.
I had a friend who was a shoe shiner and he had a house he was renting, I went and stayed with him. But I still had no job and any work to do, but time came when we had misunderstanding and we separated. Then I started looking for somewhere to sleep and what to eat too.
By the time I left my sisters place I had four trousers and six shirts of which I sold some in order to get what to eat and drink.
I started moving on the street sleeping and looking for a job, one time as I was passing in one village of well to do people, I met a site manager whom I asked for a job as a porter, he offered it to me. So then the Lord touched another friend of mine who was a shoe shiner too, who I went to and started staying with. All this was before I was saved.
So from there I was walking to where I was staying. It was 5 Km and I walked on foot. They would pay me 3,000 shillings every day but I would leave work at 5-00pm yet we were paid at the end of the week. I would use 2,000 shilling and save 1,000.
Unfortunately when my friend found out that I was working he wanted me to contribute on house rent which misunderstanding again and we separated. I worked for only one month and the site manager was moved to another one which was 20km from there. So I stop working and became jobless again.
One time I decided to go and visit my shoe shiner friend, where I found some boys smoking drugs. Because I was tired of the world I asked them to give me some. But before I put it to my mouth I saw fire fall from heaven which fall on me, so I run to the shop to buy some water in order to cool it. I returned to my friend not understanding what was taking place in the world for my mind was captured. I asked him to take me to the church of the born agains of which I did not know and had never entered but that day I spoke out its name as “Prayer Palace Christian Centre”, The Pastor was called Bishop Musis. Remember these born agains were liars, mad people and false prophets to me, when they preached the gospel to me. And I used to call it whites religion. Now where I was taken, we reached at 1-00pm during their lunch time service. But after my friend reached he run away because he was scared. From there I stop understanding for the power of the Holy Spirit was upon me and God took my mind back in a vision.
In the vision God started showing me from the time of my birth and when God started judging me that was when I was 12 years old. God also showed me all the ways in which I was a sinner, but whatever sin was shown, a voice came from behind it saying that it has been forgiven. This was 1.00pm-7.00pm in the evening.
By the time I got saved I discovered that I had sins which could fill three lorries and that I cannot break them down. So after that I came back to my real understanding and went to the Pastor who prayed for me. But I still remained in the church and prayed the whole night. In this church nobody knew me neither did I know anybody.
The following day we were in lunch hour service, Pastor called up those who had testimonies of which I was among but last to testify. When Pastor gave me the microphone, the whole church started wondering the person who came dying was now going to give a testimony.
After testifying the Pastor asked me if I wanted to get saved, of which I accepted and confessed the Lord to be my personal Saviour. From that time I received joy even though I didn’t have any where to sleep, what to eat or to put on. I started sleeping at the church on benches with out any thing to cover myself yet there were holes in the church bricks.
There were prayer groups in this church which would start at 7.00-10.00pm and then another would start at 10-00 – midnight and then they would go home. So I would just fold my self up on the bench, then they would wake us at 4-00am to pray until 6-00am. But during this time I had not returned to my sister and she did not know where I was.
When ever God would look at me that I did not have what to eat that He made a way for me. The church had a water debt to pay of 2 million but they failed so the water disconnected. Then the church gave me the responsibility of fetching 50 jerricans of water daily and they paid me 1000 shillings per day only for my lunch, I fetch this water for three years but all this time the Lord was trustworthy to me.
How the Lord joined me to Apostle John Bunjo
I did not know him, had never heard about him or heard him on the radio or seen him on TV either. I did not know any family member, not even hear people talk about him or even see his poster or at crusade.
But one time as I was praying, God bought him to me in a vision and I voice telling me that I am bringing someone to you to anoint you as Samuel anoint David. So in our church there was one sister called Sister Jane who showed me mercy. This one was a friend of Apostle John’s wife and she requested me to accompany her to go to Apostle John’s house to help his wife in clearing up. We went on Monday but Apostle John Bunjo was not there. He had gone to the UK to preach but his wife was present. So we cleared up, but the sister I had gone slept there one night but for me I spent 5 days. On Friday I had to go back to my church because we were going to have a overnight prayer. Apostle Johns wife gave me 5,000 for transport and asked me to come back on Sunday after services.
When I reached church I failed to return because my only shoes had got taken so I could not walk bare foot. Still I return after 2 months for they had sent me from church to take a letter calling Apostles wife to come and minister in our church. Only to find that Apostle John had also returned from UK, but the shoes I was putting on were lent to me. They were so happy to see me.
Never the less the Holy Spirit touch me that I should go to their home twice a week to wash clothes and iron for them. This was to be done without any wage or pay. I did this for one and half years.
One time Apostle asked me which class I had stopped in, I told him I had stopped in primary 5 (p5). Again I disappeared for 22 months because I did not have transport to take me there twice a week. But one time I was challenged to call them and just say hello and know how they were. It was the wife who received me and told me Isaiah please come back me want to talk to you. So I borrowed transport to take and spent a night there.
Early morning God showed me a vision that Apostles wife was carrying me on her lap as a baby. When we were in the car going to Apostle John’s office, they told me, Isaiah we have decided to produce you like our real child. From there I was humbled unto the Lord and accepted what they had told me, then I stayed from the church I was sleeping to their home. I was still sleeping on a bench.
That’s when they started looking after me as they child. So I requested them to allow me to go back to my sister who had chased me, when I went my sister welcomed me with joy and happiness. I had bought bread with sweets for the children. I knelt down and asked for forgiveness for all that I had done to her. She also broke in her heart and forgave me.
But I want to thank the Almighty Lord that through all these situations, God never forsook me and also I have never gone back.
In all these situations God has given me visions and dreams and prophetic words and directions to serve God. But thank God that I have already seen some and others will come before I leave this world.
Now I can preach the gospel in big congregations, to believers and non believers. God has given me anointing, wisdom; God has given me the revelation of his word.
I also now have a church in which I am ministering called Jesus Coming Ministry.
In conclusion: I am Ugandan, Muganda by tribe.
